OKEMOS, MI—January 2023—The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) has made their 2023 edition of Michigan RV and Campgrounds available to the public. The annual publication features how-to articles for seasoned and first-time RVers; destination ideas for across Michigan; and a complete member listing of private campgrounds, RV dealers, and RV suppliers from around the state. It’s one of many consumer resources the Association provides.

“By flipping through the information in this directory, by coming to one or more of MARVAC’s six industry-leading RV & Camping shows throughout the state, by reading through our extensive library of articles and blog posts, or by engaging MARVAC on social media platforms, consumers can be confident they’ll find the right answers from MARVAC regarding RV ownership and camping,” stated John Lindley, President and CEO. “MARVAC is the ultimate resource for information on RVing and camping in Michigan.”

In the 2023 edition, consumers will find six maps with color-coordinated member listings, segmented by region for straightforward guidance and cross-reference, a feature replicated on the website. On the backs of the map pages are region-specific driving tours, MARVAC staff recommendations, and a collection of RVing 101 articles, which cover topics such as freshwater management, understanding RV weight, and tips for taking delivery of an RV.

“With so many new faces joining seasoned veterans at RV parks and campgrounds throughout the country, the need for quality, reliable information has grown,” says Lindley. The overall content of the directory, and the backs of the maps in particular, were designed to inform and inspire the growing group of RV owners and campers. Other articles include campground etiquette, spring-cleaning tips, and Michigan Heritage Trails. The directory is written, printed, and mailed in Michigan.

Pick up a physical copy of the directory in person by attending one of MARVAC’s RV and Camping Shows in 2023: February 1-5 in Novi, March 3-5 in Battle Creek, March 9-12 in Port Huron, March 17-19 in Flint, and March 24-26 in Traverse City. Alternatively, requests for a physical copy of the directory can be made on the MARVAC’s website at www.michiganrvandcampgrounds.org. The 2023 edition is also viewable online.
