Ann Arbor Summer Festival Act

The Ann Arbor Summer Festival is an annual three week long event that was created in 1984 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Summer Festival is a celebration of outdoor entertainment, performing arts and community spirit. The event features over 140 scheduled events like:

circus shows
family entertainment
live music from nationally touring acts
dance pieces
comedy routines
theatrical plays

The Ann Arbor Summer Festival features two programs, one indoor and one outdoor, at various venues and spaces across the University of Michigan campus and downtown Ann Arbor. The indoor mainstage includes ticketed performances of world-class music, dance, theater, and comedy. The outdoor program, Top of the Park, offers admission-free concerts, movies under the stars, open-air spectacles, and unique family attractions.

Now entering its 34th season in 2017, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival offers a mix of regional, national, and international artists of all different styles. Presenting over 175 scheduled events each season and attracting a diverse audience of 80,000 people, the festival continues to grow as a major cultural event in the Ann Arbor community.

After a long cold winter, the Enchanted Forest once again is coming alive!

Soon you will be able to walk through the festival gate and into the magical village of Kleeves where you will see fairies and elves, The Duke and his three sisters, fire spinners and belly dancers, comedy theater, archery demonstrations, fantasy characters, the Children’s Knoll, Sir Dan the royal stallion, much music and many merchants too! And a great selection of things to eat and drink in the food court. Come and see us… we will keep the torch lit for you !

2016 Bay-Rama FishFly Festival

The Bay-Rama FishFly Festival in New Baltimore, Michigan, celebrates the community with a family-friendly five-day event. Highlights of the FishFly include a parade with dozens of floats and marchers, a fireworks display, live music from area bands, clowns, carnival attractions, a princess and pirates pizza party, a kid’s dance and a Miss Bay-Rama beauty pageant.

The 2016 festival will start Wednesday, June 22nd beginning at 3 pm and end Sunday, June 26th at 7 pm. The midway and festival tent opens at 3 pm daily and closes 12:30 am (Sunday at 7 pm).

The Arts will be celebrated in Boyne City, Michigan Where Life Meets Lake, at the 7th annual SOBO Arts Festival June 24-25, 2016. The 7th annual Boyne City SOBO Arts Festival has expanded and gone live!

In the spirit of it’s original mission, encompassing all arts, we have become An Interactive Art Show about more than just making art…we’ll create an EXPERIENCE. Stations will invite the audience to interact through various languages of art. Created for observation and reaction. They will create an engaging, entertaining and collaborative environment  where you will learn something new and creative about the world or yourself.

 

Boyne City Arts Festival, An interactive hands-on art festival, celebrating art of all kinds- performance, music, visual, textural, live performing art vignettes, live statues, plein air competition, sidewalk chalk art competition, music, dance flash mobs, and a variety of art installations.

The Art Festival kicks off Friday evening, June 24, Downtown Boyne City with Stroll the Streets.
Saturday the Show opens in Sunset Park.

This year the St. Clair Art Fair will celebrate its 45th year in featuring artists with a panorama of creative talents displayed on the shores of the St. Clair River. The gallery provides a showcase for artists to display and market their creations. Our classes, designed for all ages and abilities, open the door into a wider, broader world. The programs include lectures, demonstrations, tours and trips to both entertain and educate.

21st Annual JuneGrass @ Kent County Fairgrounds

Join the 21st annual spring/summer festival – JuneGrass! This is the third annual JuneGrass event as it was formerly in May as MayFest. The event is held June 24th and 25th. Located at the Kent County Fairgounds (225 S Hudson St, Lowell, MI). Bring the family for the weekend!

Events include Thursday Evening Potluck Dinner, workshops, band scramble, 50/50 drawings, guitar raffle, kid’s activities with Fiddlin’ Dixie, open mic and plenty of jamming!

  • Weekend Advance Tickets: $30
  • Weekend Tickets at the Gate: $35
  • Daily Tickets: Friday $15 – Saturday $20
  • Ages 15 years and under FREE with adult
