Open from early May to late October, the campground sits at the Jackpine ORV Haywire (41) trailhead along M94, just 25 miles southeast of Munising, 19 miles north of US2 in Manistique, and 15 miles south of M28 in Shingleton. Visitors are within 30 minutes of Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Indian Lake, Kitch-iti-kipi, ORV, and hiking trails, as well as numerous inland lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Onsite amenities include a Bar/Grill, cabin rentals, camp store, and spacious gravel sites with picnic tables, fire rings, and a shower house. We have a swimming beach, playground, fresh water, dump station, 40 electric and 10 non-electric sites. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Houghton Lake Travel Park Campground is a quiet, friendly, family-oriented camping park.
