Hunting and Fishing Center:
Mitchell State Park near the town Cadillac in northern Michigan is home to this DNR visitor center, which hosts several programs and guided hikes. The center has an archery range as well as a shooting range and offers scheduled shooting programs throughout the summer.

Mon - Sat 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
September 16 to Memorial Day:
Friday and Sunday 12 - 5 p.m.
Sat 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (CLOSED Mon - Thurs)
Ludington:
Ludington State Park, located just north of beautiful Ludington, is 5300 acres, has miles of shoreline and hiking trails, and hosts many interpretative programs year-round. Many of these programs are free to attend. This state park is also home to the black-and-white Big Sable Point lighthouse, one of the most recognized lighthouses in Michigan. Tours are available seasonally.
