1. Don’t miss out on seeing the penguins at the Detroit Zoo.
2. Downtown Detroit has several iconic sculptures, with two of the most popular being the Joe Louis fist and the Spirit of Detroit.

4. In an old brick building in Rockford - reopened in August 2018 after a fire – is The Corner Bar and Hot Dog Hall of Fame. Just eat 12 or more hot dogs in the bar’s special chili sauce in four hours. Eat 20 and there’s no charge. But it’s not about the money. It’s about the fame!
5. Paint Creek Trail in Rochester offers excellent trails and was Michigan’s first Rail-to-Trail.
6. Willow Creek Gold & Sports Center in Lake Orion will keep the whole family busy. There’s a driving range, batting cages, and two mini golf courses.
7. Where can you find the best Detroit-style pizza? Try Buddy’s.
8. Visit the Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills.
