Downtown Chelsea hosts an annual two-day, three-night event fit for the whole family. Purchase fresh produce at the Saturday farmers market, let the kiddos burn off some energy in the KidZone, or take a leisurely stroll through the classic car show.

Things to do in the South-Central Region
1. The Falling Waters Trail near Jackson is the perfect trailway for a long, easy bike ride, especially in the fall.
2. Be mayor for the day in Hell, Michigan.
3. In the winter, one of the best spots to enjoy snow sports is Mt. Brighton, which has 25 trails and five lifts.
4. Take a dip at Manitou Beach on Devils Lake.
5. If going off the beaten path is your thing, head to Bundy Hill Offroad Recreation in Jerome.
6. Take in a race at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn - and bring the RV as camping is available on-site.
7. The quaint village of Manchester is full of charm and activity. A favorite is the five-day Community Fair held each summer.
8. The historic buildings of the Law Quad, particularly the library, at the University of Michigan are stunning to view.
